History

Founded in 2025 by Nonprofit Leader, Google Graduate, and Entrepreneur Marcus Belgrove, FIT 2 Dream, was born from a stark reality: the significant deficit in financial literacy and digital career readiness disproportionately affecting Black and low-income youth in our communities. Marcus, witnessing these disparities firsthand, understood that without foundational knowledge in personal finance and access to in-demand digital skills, young people would continue to face formidable systemic barriers to achieving economic mobility and building generational wealth.

Recognizing the urgent need for action, Marcus established FIT 2 Dream, with a bold mission: "Empowering disadvantaged and marginalized youth (ages 3-24) to confidently build prosperous futures and generational wealth in the digital economy, through transformative financial literacy, cutting-edge digital skills, and dedicated mentorship." Strategic Partnerships for Impact

From the outset, FIT 2 Dream sought to create powerful alliances to amplify its impact. A crucial partnership was forged with Google, leveraging their vast expertise and resources in digital education and workforce development.

This collaboration allows FIT 2 Dream to provide cutting-edge digital skills training, enabling rapid upskilling and access to industry-recognized certifications, by Google & Coursera. Beyond Google, FIT 2 Dream actively partners with other nonprofit organizations and local, and national businesses that are committed to fostering digital equity and providing transformative opportunities for youth. By combining resources and expertise, these partnerships help bridge the gap in access to quality education, mentorship, and career pathways for Black and low-income youth.

Since its founding, FIT 2 Dream, has been dedicated to cultivating local communities where low-income youth confidently overcome systemic barriers. We believe that by empowering marginalized Youth to lead in the digital economy and establish foundational success for generational prosperity within their neighborhoods, we can ignite a wave of positive change for years to come. Our journey has just begun, and we remain committed to creating a future where every low income youth has the opportunity to unlock their full potential and build a legacy that enables generational prosperity and wealth.

We actively listen to and uplift the voices of our youth and our community, ensuring that their experiences and insights inform our strategies and decisions.
